1st snow and sleepover
Alexis wanted to take advantage of the first snowfall of the season. Matthew had no desire until it was time for her to come in. Isn't that how it works though??
This was last night at Camp Weyandt. They decided they wanted to have a sleepover in Alexis' room and sleep in their sleeping bags. When I went in to check on them this is how they were (notice Alexis hanging off the mattress.) FYI-Matthew ended up in our bed at 3am!

Cute one...
Just wanted to share the start to my morning...
Alexis has had a cold for about 2 weeks now and this morning at approx 618am she stumbled downstairs all grumpy and groggy and holding her head..."Mommy, my brain and head hurts!!" I don't know why this struck me as funny-I guess because of the innocence involved! Oh, I love this age.

THE WIGGLES!!!
So tonight was the night that we have been waiting for! Matthew was so star struck that he wouldn't even get his shirt signed or ask/do any of the things he had planned. Captain Feathersword was admiring Matthew's feathersword and trying to talk to him. He was so beside himself he didn't know what to do or say. So since he wouldn't let them sign anything or ask any of the questions he was going to we showed him the picture of his birthday cake from August. (It was a feathersword) Captain was very impressed by it(or so he says!) But we did have a great time. The kids danced and sang the whole time. I think Nana and Grandma enjoyed watching the kids reactions! The one picture is of the kids giving their roses for Dorothy the Dinosaur (she eats roses;) ) Anyway, I'd love to know what little Matthew is dreaming about right now...

Squirrel Hunting
Mike took Alexis squirrel hunting on Monday since they didn't have school. She was so excited and so proud to show off their prize! As I walked outside to listen to the conversation, it was just as I thought...
Alexis: "Dad, what do you think he would say if he was alive?"
Mike: "He'd probably say 'OUCH'!"
And there you have it, what a daddy-daugther moment!
