Vacation to the Outer Banks

Hello

We just got back last night from a trip to the Outer Banks of NC.  We had a great time with Mike's parent's, sister Betsy, nephew Stephen and his roommate from college.  It was a very relaxing vacation-good thing since we came home to a house full of dust from getting our hardwood floors refinished and I came home with some sort of stomach flu!!  The kids had a blast and we were happy to be able to go.  Here are a few pics from the trip...

The airplane pictures are from the plane ride we took up and down the coast.  It was awesome.  I have some other pictures to post but they're still on my camera-I'll get them on soon!  Enjoy!

Fun Times

We had a great weekend, hope you all did also.  Saturday we took the kids, along with some friends, to the Bellefonte Children's fair.  It's a nice little fair with kids games, animals, face painting, etc. just for the kiddo's.  Alexis held a ball python at the urging of her Uncle Fred and I was about to get sick just watching-I HATE snakes, with a passion.

The first picture is to brighten your day.  We went to Lake Raystown with friends on Sunday.  The kids had a blast.  This is the picture of Matt in all his glory.  Everytime I see this picture it just makes me crack up laughing.  What a card he is!  Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Oh how I love these kids...

Slacker

Hi all

I've really been slacking with this blog...sorry!  We've been so busy and I just haven't taken any pictures.  Good news is that we're going to the beach next weekend so I'll take my camera (of course) and I'll update while I'm there.  We're really excited about going.  We're going with Mike's mom and dad and the kids can't wait.  Alexis has 4 days of school left and then she's off to kindergarten in the fall!  We've already been camping twice, driving to Hershey on Monday to tour chocolate world while we're down there for a dr appt and then it's off to the beach.  I have one new picture to show.  It's of my new car!  I've been eyeing these cars up for a very long time and while there was no REAL reason I needed a new car, at 117,000 miles and 6 years of ownership I was starting to get the itch.  It was one of those moments that when I pulled out of the lot in my new car I asked myself why I just did that:)  Anyway, we all love it and it'll be around a long time!

Hopefully this finds you all well.  I'll post more in the coming weeks, I promise :)
